The title of my artwork is Red Lotus. I have chosen that title as it symbolises compassion. The compassion shown by the audience in the video has largely influence my artwork.

 

I have mainly used the colours red, green and blue. Red symbolises love, which was shown by the strangers towards the little girl. Green symbolises kindness while blue symbolises compassion. The small white bird symbolises the innocence of a little girl. The lotus acts as a resting place for the bird, where it is helping the bird in the way that the strangers are helping the girl. There are several lotus around which shows that there are many strangers who are willing to help.
